For most, career growth has been a matter of luck — someone they knew, a chance referral, or being at the right place at the right time. But what about the rest? At Global Career Smart, we believe in changing that narrative.
The Problem We’re Solving
When I started my career, I had it figure it all out. The burning questions that kept me struggling were like – what should be my career direction in line with my unique strengths, what career path should I take, is there any scope of growth in the direction I am choosing? Once I reached a certain level, where next from here?
Most of my career decisions were made by chance, a lot of hard work and a little bit of luck and not at strategic level. Along the way, as life unfolded, I kept figuring it out. It would have been much empowering if I had a “Trusted” place where I could go and find solutions to my career anxiety.
There are millions of courses out there from universities, small colleges, boutique training centers to individual promising to change the life, but most of them don’t belong to the industry. Then I thought of ”Career by Design and Not by Chance” concept where we have industry participation and we work on strategy and training at the same time. Where our candidates get insights into the industry and job market first hand and be a part of the community to get to where they are.
